Traditional & Modern Hong Kong

Enjoy stunning skylines from an indoor observation deck with 360-degree views, and visit top cultural attractions in Hong Kong.

About Your Trip

Don’t forget your camera! You’re sure to get an interesting perspective on Hong Kong from high in the sky when you visit the observation deck of the city’s tallest building. First, start your tour with a visit to some of the city’s more contemplative spaces amid the skyscrapers. You’ll see Chi Lin Nunnery, a Buddhist complex made entirely of wood and surrounded by lotus ponds and lush greenery — then head to nearby Nan Lian Garden, a public park built in the style of the Tang dynasty. Another tour highlight is the temple dedicated to Wong Tai Sin and home to 3 religions: Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism.

Then it’s off to sky100, where you’ll marvel at unforgettable views of the cityscape and Victoria Harbour. Your adventures don’t end with that sky-high vantage. After lunch, you’ll also visit the Ladies Market for clothing, accessories and souvenirs along the 0.6-mile (1-kilometer) stretch of stalls or try your hand at bargaining for the best deals and a street-side snack.

What we love:
• Designed by one of the world’s largest architectural firms, Kohn Pederson Fox Associates, sky100 offers unimpeded, 360-degree views from its impressive indoor observation deck on the 100th floor of the International Commerce Centre.
• InterContinental Hong Kong consistently ranks amongst the world's top hotels by publications such as Forbes Travel Guide, Conde Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure.
• Hong Kong has more skyscrapers than anywhere else in the world, boasting over 300 buildings that have 40 floors or more.

Destination

Hong Kong is an intense, eclectic city that draws millions of visitors annually thanks to its fascinating blend of modern culture and ancient tradition. This Pearl River Delta metropolis is one of a kind, an autonomous territory known as much for its iconic harbor skyline as its plentiful skyscrapers. Beneath its industrial- and business-focused exterior, this bustling city hides a treasure trove of unique experiences just begging to be discovered. Few cities are better for feasting — the cuisine here is truly global. And thanks to the city’s Chinese roots and British colonial background, there’s also an amazing range of historical, military and contemporary landmarks. There’s no shortage of entertainment and sights to see in Hong Kong — everything from opera to glitzy malls, and from sprawling parks to museums — earning the city the nickname, “Asia’s World City.”
